Holland Materials Technology has manufactured and patented a new product that has been designated Class 1 for the surface spread of flame test, BS 476: Part 7: 1997.

The product feels similar to a hard rubber and the company says it has the following benefits:

• hard wearing

• built in fire and smoke resistance

• non-slip properties

• good moulding capabilities

It can be used for various applications including mats, non-slip floor covering, floor panels, play areas, ceiling panels, tiles and rubber sheeting
