Last Thursday we launched a new page on our website offering Information for Architects and Specifiers. The page is specially targeted to architects to give them a little more information on specifying synthetic grass for sport and leisure, and includes a handy guide which is free to download. The document covers why you should consider synthetic turf over natural turf, highlights some of Playrite’s most typical projects and includes details of who we are and what we believe in. It also details key points on what questions Architects need to be asking their clients when they select an artificial surface.

And so far the response to the guide has been great! After some quick tweaks based on helpful recommendations from @Subutcher (check out her blog Just Practicing), the page was ready to be spread across Twitter and the internet. Here are some of the responses so far:

“It is a very good, concise document that introduces the topic and gives you pointers as to what you would need to research if you wanted additional information”

Ben @benjaminmurdoch, director at murdoch architecture + design

"A great way to inform & raise awareness at the same time" Benedikte Ranum @ESIBuilding

 “Very useful” Andrea Heim @o2idesign

“The QR Code is a nice touch!” @specifinder

“Great how it takes you exactly to the correct page (the page you would want!!). well done 10/10”

Dave @snowarchitects, Architectural Technican and Director at Snow Architects

Inspired by @Pauleycreative and their E Book: Construction Marketer’s Guide to Social Media Marketing, we wanted to produce something that is useful and that is free, and I hope that’s what we’ve managed to create. And after less than a week of being up and running, the new pages Artificial Turf: Information for Architects and Specifiers and the link included in the guide Information for Architects have already been viewed over 160 times – with users spending a good amount of time on the pages. We hope that those who have downloaded the guide have found it useful, informative and are ready to learn more!

If you've not yet read our guide for specifying synthetic surfaces - click here to download.

COMING SOON....

Next week, our RIBA CPD will be available online. Keep posted for details.
